Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MM Coding Lingo ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Grammar Hunt mobile application (the "App"). By installing and using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information stored on your device only
Grammar Hunt is designed to be a fully offline single-player experience. The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your phone:
- Player profile (name, XP, coins, gems)
- Stars, high scores and per-level progress
- Unlocked characters and achievements
- Daily-reward streak history
- Local leaderboard entries
- App settings (sound, notifications, vibration)
2. Information collected by third-party services
We use Google AdMob to display ads — the only third-party service that may collect data while you use the App. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (AAID on Android)
- Approximate location based on IP address
- Device model, OS version, language, time zone
- Crash and diagnostic logs
Google AdMob's use of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device's system settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
3. Permissions we request
- Internet, Network state — Load ads from Google AdMob.
- Vibration — Optional haptic feedback. Toggle in Settings.
- Notifications — Daily-reward reminders. Toggle in Settings.
- Wake lock — Keeps the screen on during rewarded ads.
- com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID — Required by Google AdMob on Android 13+.
4. Children's privacy
Grammar Hunt is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us via the ad partner, please contact support@mmcodinglingo.com.
5. Your rights
- Settings → Reset progress erases all gameplay data.
- Settings → Delete my account & data permanently removes everything Grammar Hunt has stored locally.
- Uninstall the App to remove every byte of Grammar Hunt data.
- Disable notifications, sound or vibration in Settings.
- Reset your Advertising ID in your device settings to limit ad personalisation.
6. Data retention
Local data is retained on your device until you delete it via the steps above or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies on any server.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post any changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
